Yet #12 Desiray Connell and company were just to much for them, as the Buccaneers closed out the contest winning 8-6. With the win, First Coast would play the winner of Mandarin and Sandalwood Thursday for the District Title.

First Coast Coach Chrissanne Hooten knew a win wasn’t going to be easy. “We split the season series with them so we knew it would be tough. We’re a really young team, I’m excited for this team’s future together. It’s all about the kids!”.  For one of her kids #8  Right Fielder Kaley Whitehead, advancing is an opportunity for history. ” We were district champs back to back so I’m excited to play for another district title against Mandarin or Sandalwood this year”.
