-A match-up of playoff participants from a year ago took place between Stillwell and Fletcher. Gilbert won their 65th game in a row and defeated a very good Manadrin team. Many wanted to see a “what if ” scenario with Mandarin. What if they had defeated Fletcher last year in the playoffs, how would they have matched up against Gilbert in the championship? Well we got our answer in week #1.
