Power Rankings: High School Week # 7

Seven is universally viewed as a lucky number, and many teams in our area benefited from some luck to remain at certain positions in the week 7 power rankings. For other teams however, week 7 meant their luck had run out. Dashing hopes of undefeated seasons and playoff appearances. Let’s see where the dice landed this week in our Lucky #7   Weekly High School PowerRankings…

#1  Trinity

The battle of the unbeaten turned into the beat down of the unbeaten. Trinity gave previously undefeated Episcopal a thrashing on their home field. This was good enough to get them back into the number one spot. Next up Godby   ( Tallahassee)

#2. First Coast

Tristan Payton of the Buccaneers said it best…

#3. Columbia

Orange Park put up little fight against the big cats! The Commanders however, will surely pick a fight with them.

#4. Fletcher  vs #5. Raines

Both teams worked their way back to the top of the ranking after early season losses. Raines trampled Baldwin and Fletcher took care of Atlantic Coast last week. This matchup between the Vikings and Senators is sure to be great and go down to the wire.

#6. Ed White

This is a chance for Ed White to make a statement against Columbia. Let’s see what they do.

#7. Bolles

Bolles faces American Heritage

#8. St. Augustine:

The undefeated yellow Jackets are creating quite a buzz. A showdown with Clay looms this week.

#9. Oakleaf:

The Knights a re seizinf the opportunity to move up with every win they rack up.

#10. Bishop Kenny

Charles Wade’s interception isn’t the only the going viral right now. Bishop Kenny is on a roll after a strong defeat of a solid Ribault team.
