The state of Florida’s leading passer in 2024 is not from one of the traditional large area schools. He is Jordan Durham of Zarephath Academy, a 2025 big armed pocket passer, with the ability to get first downs with his legs as well. Durham’s stats include passing for 6,047 yards, 62 TDs, 6 Ints as a senior, leading the state in passing once again. Durham led Zarephath to the SSIA State championship, and navigated the toughest schedule in the school’s young history in 2023.
In 2022, Durham burst on the scene passing for 2,607 yds, 21 TDs; while rushing for 322yds and 2 TDs in a sophomore season that saw him lead Zarephath to a FIHSAA state championship.
As a junior, Durham passed for 2,104 yards, 16 TDs and 4 Ints, in just 6 games played. For his week 8 performance against Lake Weir, Durham was named Duval Sports Player of the Week, passing for 444 yards and 4 TDs.
