Biography

He is the number 1 ranked players in his class 2028. The most dynamic freshman we’ve seen in Northeast Florida since DeAndre Johnson of First Coast.. Brysen Wright now has become the most dynamic player we’ve ever seen in the area. Wright, in a standout sophomore season at wide receiver at Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, enjoyed a dynamic 2025 season with spectacular plays that only rivaled his freshman season.

He hauled in 31 receptions for 646 yards—an impressive 20.8-yard average—and scored eight touchdowns across 11 varsity games, emerging as the team’s leading receiver as a freshman.

As a sophomore Wright has already made national headlines with his play into the 2025 season. Finished with 983 yards Rec, 10 TDs on offense. Had 5 INTs on defense with three pick 6’s. He even scored on special teams with 2 punt return TDs.

Week 1, he had a TD reception and a 100-yard pick 6 versus Creekside. Week 2, he topped that performance with a TD reception, a punt return for a TD, and amazingly another 100-yard pick 6 versus Atlantic Coast. Both contests saw Wright make spectacular catches over defenders earning him Duval Sports Player of the Week for Week 2!
