Biography

Trenton Jones, senior wide receiver at St. Augustine High in Jacksonville, exploded in the 2024 season, hauling in 71 catches for 1,134 yards—averaging 16 yards per reception—and scoring 11 touchdowns over 12 games. He led Class 4A with a phenomenal 94.5 receiving yards per game and racked up 1,397 all-purpose yards thanks to an added 160 rushing yards, firmly ranking top 3 in District 3 and earning multiple Player of the Game honors. Jones finished his junior year career with over 2,700 yards and 21 total TDs and leading his team in receiving.
Jones finished 15th in the state in receiving yards. He will play collegiate football at Mercer.
