Edwards could’ve been named player of the week several times his sophomore season as his performances have been spectacular.

- 184 yards, 4 TDs vs Bishop Kenny (win)/ 248 yards, 3 TDs vs St. Augustine (loss), 157 yards, 2 TDs vs Monarch(win)
- Rushed for 2,629 yards rushing and 44 TDs as a sophomore!
Edwards plays with power and efficiency—he breaks off long runs and consistently gains yards on the ground, displaying vision and the ability to accelerate through holes. His bruising style breaks arms tackles, and creates holes on the rare occasion that they aren’t there.
Edwards is a top player to watch in area recruiting. We predicted that his trajectory would have him draw several more D1 offers, and he has blown up as one of the highest recruited player in the country. Since the end of his junior season Edwards has added Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State among several other offers. He has become one of the more prominent backs in the entire state of Florida in his class.
