Biography

Asher Ghioto has emerged as one of Northeast Florida’s most promising defensive line prospects, developing into a disruptive force for The Bolles School. Known for his size, strength, and relentless motor, Ghioto has become a cornerstone of the Bulldogs’ defense and one of the top defensive end prospects in Florida’s Class of 2027.

Standing 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Ghioto possesses the physical tools that college coaches look for in an edge defender. His combination of length, explosiveness, and power allows him to consistently win battles at the line of scrimmage. Whether he’s setting the edge against the run or pressuring the quarterback, Ghioto plays with a high level of intensity and discipline on every snap.

His sophomore season saw him register an amazing 23 sacks, with 84 tackles and 35 tackles for loss. This season, he was a 5-star recruit by 247 Sports, and Rivals. Ghioto was first ranked a 5-star recruit by Duval Sports in 2023 after his 8th grade season at Swiss Point MS, where he helped guide his team to a county championship. His rapid ascension is a forecast to his potential as the most dominant defensive end the area has ever seen.
