Standing 6-foot-2 and 250 pounds, Butler possesses the size, strength, and athleticism that college coaches covet in an edge defender. His combination of power and quickness allows him to overwhelm offensive tackles, while his long reach and active hands make him a constant threat to disrupt plays in the backfield. Whether rushing the passer or setting the edge against the run, Butler consistently plays with toughness and discipline.
One of Butler’s greatest strengths is his ability to create pressure without sacrificing gap responsibility. He has a relentless pursuit of the football, chasing down ball carriers from sideline to sideline and refusing to give up on a play. Playing in Raines’ championship culture has helped shape Butler into both a standout player and a leader. Competing against some of Florida’s best programs every week has sharpened his technique. He led Raines in sacks with 10 on the season, including 2 sacks in the playoffs versus Bishop Kenny.
