Mandarin improved their record to 1-1 after their victory against Stillwell on Tuesday. Mandarin and Stilwell both made the playoffs last year, however both sustained losses in week number one, so this was an early season must win for both programs. In Middle School action the Oceanway Buccaneers defeated the Ribault Trojans 24-10 at Oceanway Middle. The Buccaneers scored first on a touchdown run by #10 Quarterback Jamal Gelsey to go up 8-0. Running back Davon Davis( #7) scored twice for the Highlands Wildcats to spark their victory against Kirby Smith 32-0. Davis scored on a 60 yard catch and run, and also returned a punt for a touchdown.
