Joel Bazinet

Joel Bazinet, the elite long snapper for Oakleaf High School in Jacksonville, put together a spectacular 2024 season. He snapped perfectly on all 50 PAT attempts and earned First Team All-District honors. Bazinet also won multiple specialist championships—including FACA All-District and camp titles—and finished the year nationally ranked as a top long snapper underclassman, with a 4.20 GPA to boot.

Speaking of booting, Bazinet’s flawless long snapping ability allowed Oakleaf’s punter to average 34.5 yards per punt, with a long of 52 yards and 8 punts inside the 20 yard line. All metrics were above national averages. Bazinet is an excellent cover person as well, possessing the ability to hustle down field and make tackles on returns and down punts. Bazinet has the unique distinction of being rated a 3-star long snapper by On3 Sports/ Rivals and a 4-star long snapper from Duval Sports.
