Larry Mason Smith III

As part of the Class of 2028, Smith plays both-ways as a defensive tackle and guard for Atlantic Coast. At D-Tackle, Smith is one of the main reasons the Stingray’s two edge rushers are able to generate sacks. Smith pushes the pocket effectively, collapsing quarterbacks with no way to step up. He also penetrates the offensive line, using his quickness to register tackles for loss and sacks. 

He’s a selfless team player, and 2-sport athlete excelling at Track &  Field as well. At 6’2, 270lbs, the talented tackle is best suited for defense. Although his team needs him to play offensive guard, Smith would excel even further as a full time defensive tackle, allowing him to focus all of his energy towards creating havoc on the D-line. He’s shown that he can affect games from his defensive tackle position, and colleges have already taken notice. He currently holds offers from CSU, Carleton College.
