Biography

He’s one of the nastiest linemen seen on tape, and that’s when he was just a freshman. Anson Bivins entered the starting lineup at guard for Clay as a freshman, and immediately made an impact. Bivins buried defenders to the end of the whistle, routinely driving players into the dirt. He showed an incredible ability to gain leverage and create advantages in the run game. His large frame, quickness and strength caught the attention of defensive coaches, showing agility to get off blocks and penetrate. 

Bivins switched to the defensive side of the ball and stuffs the run and disrupts the backfield at defensive tackle. He’s picked up offers from USF, App State, Wake Forest, Liberty, Famu, Delaware, and will continue to power his way into offensive backfields, becoming one of the best defensive linemen in Northeast Florida. Bivins transferred to Bolles HS (2026)
