Corbyn Fordham developed into one of Northeast Florida’s top tight ends during his standout career at The Bolles School, earning a reputation as a dependable pass catcher, physical blocker, and proven leader. His combination of size, athleticism, and football IQ made him one of the state’s most complete players at the position and ultimately led to his signing with Florida State University.
Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing approximately 225 pounds, Fordham possesses the ideal frame for a modern collegiate tight end. He has the versatility to line up in multiple formations, stretch the field as a receiver, and dominate the line of scrimmage as a blocker. That all-around skill set made him a key piece of the Bulldogs’ offense throughout his high school career.
During his three varsity seasons at Bolles, Fordham caught 86 passes for 868 yards and nine touchdowns, showcasing consistent production and reliable hands. As a senior, he recorded 26 receptions for 310 yards and three touchdowns, helping lead the Bulldogs to a 13-2 record and an appearance in the FHSAA Class 2A State Championship Game.
Fordham’s impact extended far beyond the stat sheet. His willingness to block in the running game, create mismatches in the passing game, and provide veteran leadership made him one of the most respected players on Bolles’ roster. He also contributed on defense at D-End in games showing his eagerness to be physical on both sides of the ball.
Recruiting analysts recognized his talent by ranking him among the nation’s top tight end prospects, with scholarship offers from powerhouse programs including Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, and Florida before he chose the Seminoles.
Football excellence runs in the Fordham family. Corbyn is the son of Todd Fordham, a former Florida State national champion and team captain who went on to enjoy a 10-year NFL career. Continuing that family legacy in Tallahassee made his commitment to Florida State even more meaningful. His brothers Caden Fordham (LB NC State) and Cooper Fordham (lineman at Louisiana) also play collegiate ball.
