Northeast Florida’s top 2024 running back might be the nation’s best kept secret. Darnell Rogers or ” Unc” as they affectionately call him combines power, speed, and vision to already make for one of the most dangerous runners in the area. He was instrumental in carrying the Conqueror running game early on in 2021, and finished with 1001 yards and 9 touchdowns while sharing time in the backfield. A two time state champion, Rogers also got carries as a freshman, gaining lots of valuable experience. Rogers got off to a great start to the 2022 season, rushing for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns against Ed White. He finished with 1080 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was the Duval Sports Player of the Game week#1 and is setting the tone for a juggernaut of a senior season. Committed to Valdosta State in May 2023
