Biography

4-star Linebacker Jack Pyburn was a force on the Bulldogs defense. A leader and menace in the trenches, Pyburn tallied 109 tackles, 80 of them solo with 14 sacks. He had a monster 4 sack game against Columbia leading to an incredible 14 sack season. He was all over the field leading the Bolles back breaking defense with his incredible range and size. He registered 264 tackles and 21 sacks for his career at Bolles.

Pyburn placed 3rd at the 1A state tournament in the 220-pound class as a junior going 4-1 and won the Region 1-1A title at 285 lbs in 2022. He went undefeated this season with a 31-0 record advancing all the way to the state semifinals. He is a first team 2021-2022 Duval Sports Prime Time Player.

The Minnesota commit flipped to Florida after the end of his sernior season after receiving the Gator offer. Pyburn played in 8 games as a True Freshman, and looks to capitalize on a starting role that’s come up as a sophomore.
