Jaden Weatherly established himself as one of Northeast Florida’s most accomplished quarterbacks during his career at The Bolles School. and Bartram Trail A poised leader with a strong arm, high football IQ, and the ability to deliver in big moments, Weatherly played a pivotal role in keeping the Bulldogs among Florida’s elite programs. His outstanding career earned him the opportunity to continue playing at the collegiate level after committing to Glenville State University.
Weatherly flourished in Bolles’ balanced offensive attack, showcasing exceptional accuracy, sound decision-making, and the confidence to make every throw on the field. Whether operating from the pocket or extending plays with his mobility, he consistently put the Bulldogs in position to succeed against some of the toughest competition in the state.
During his standout senior season, Weatherly completed an impressive campaign by throwing for 2,006 yards and 23 touchdowns, helping lead Bolles to a 13-2 record and an appearance in the FHSAA Class 2A State Championship Game. His ability to spread the football to multiple playmakers while protecting possession made him one of the most efficient quarterbacks in Northeast Florida.
Throughout his career, Weatherly demonstrated the qualities every coach wants in a quarterback. He remained calm under pressure, read defenses effectively, and consistently made smart decisions in critical situations possessing the ability to run for first downs and touchdowns. He rushed for 282yds and 8 TDs as a senior. At Bartram he rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries against Creekside High School.
His leadership extended beyond the stat sheet, earning the respect of teammates through his work ethic, preparation, and commitment to excellence.
Guiding Bolles to a state championship game, Weatherly’s success at Bolles was greatly understated, and his accomplishments overlooked by recruiters. However, he comes from a confident and supportive family including big brother the “electrifying” Eric Weatherly (Duke, Bucknell, Tenn Tech) , which will fuel his drive and determination to show why he is one of the best quarterbacks to come out of the area. Watch out for “the Weather man” in college.
