Biography

Jalen Scarver is a unique combination of size and speed at the corner position. At 6’4, 190lbs, Scarver stands out in both stature and statistical performance on the football field. With a stellar junior campaign, Scarver lead the area in interceptions with 6, including 2 sacks, 35 tackles, a blocked field goal, and touchdown on a pick 6. Scarver was one of the top performers on the team in pass deflections and interceptions. As a sophomore, Scarver brought in 2 interceptions for the Rams, showing his ability to make plays at a young starter.

Playing predominately outside, Scarver can fly up to make tackles for loss in the run game, as well as move inside to cover wide receivers 1 on 1 in the slot. A tremendous upside to this honor roll student, who’s already completed college courses. Finished his senior season with 44 tackles, 1 sack and 3 interceptions on defense, while contributing on offense with 204 yards receiving and 3 TDs.
