Biography

No one tracked the ball in the air better than Jamil Jones in 2021. The Baker County senior took away the football 10 times through the air, tied for first in the entire state. If the ball was anywhere in his vicinity, Jones took it out of the air. He was one of the main factors in the top ranked Wildcat defense, who led the area in sacks and interceptions. Jones signed with Southeastern University to play football at the next level. He is a first team Times Union All First Coast selection, and a Duval Sports first team Prime Time Player.

Jones signed to Southeastern University in 2022, and saw action in two games as a freshman.
