Julian Holt made his mark at Ed White High School as one of Northeast Florida’s most dependable and hard-hitting defensive backs. A true leader in the Commanders’ secondary, Holt combined athleticism, instincts, and physicality to become one of Jacksonville’s top defensive playmakers. His outstanding high school career earned him the opportunity to continue his football journey after signing with Bowling Green University.
Standing 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Holt possesses the ideal build for a collegiate safety. His length, speed, and football intelligence allow him to excel in both pass coverage and run support. Whether patrolling the deep secondary, breaking up passes, or stepping into the box to make a tackle, Holt consistently demonstrated the versatility that college coaches look for in a defensive back.
Throughout his career at Ed White, Holt established himself as a defensive leader who played with confidence and hard hitting. He displayed excellent instincts in reading opposing offenses, allowing him to react quickly and put himself in position to make game-changing plays. His ability to cover ground, close on the football, and deliver fundamentally sound tackles made him a cornerstone of the Commanders’ defense.
Holt’s impact extended saw him lead White in tackles (97),second in interceptions (3), along with 3 sacks from the safety position. Holt also scored from everywhere including 2-point conversions, kick off return TDs (2), and two Pick 6’s.
