Biography

Markus Strong was one of the highest recruited defensive players in Florida last year. A three-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals, Strong was touted as the No. 64 defensive lineman in the class by Rivals and No. 139 by 247Sports. Ranked as the No. 201 recruit in the state of Florida by 247Sports, Strong had 33 tackles, 10.5 sacks 15 tackles for loss,and 3 forced fumbles. Led Union County to the 1R playoffs with an 7-2 record and a defense that averaged 2.6 sacks per game. His brother (Maurice) is a defensive lineman at South Alabama.
