Burroughs has won youth football championships, a middle school football championship, and is currently on a team that boasts the most championships in Northeast Florida (Bolles). The 6’0 receiver is in a prime position to make plays to help his team toward another championship in the future. As a freshman, he registered 659 receiving yards and 7 TDs. He earned Duval Sports Player Of The Week from a week 2 performance that saw him catch 3 Touchdown passes and finish with 110 yards receiving. He finished his sophomore season with 1,019 Receiving Yards, 47 Receptions, 435 Return Yards, and 15 Touchdowns!
His junior year, the wide receivers caught 33 passes for 829 yards (25.1 yards per reception) and scored 12 touchdowns in just nine games, averaging over 92 receiving yards per contest—ranking among the top WRs in Florida’s Class 2A and leading District 4 in multiple categories. Burroughs also impressed on special teams with 208 kickoff return yards, earning four‑star status and over 30 D‑I offers, ultimately committing to Clemson in March 2025
