Sebastian Cruz, a versatile safety at Fleming Island High School, made a standout impact on both sides of the ball in 2024. Primarily playing free safety, Cruz also played running back and receiver with 3 touchdown receptions on the year. He logged 10 total tackles with 4 pass breakups in a key playoff win. He finished the season ranked No. 1 in Division 5A for return yards, top 10 in Florida, and top 200 nationally—including 591 return yards.
