Biography

Shermon Davis, senior RB/DE/ILB at Riverside High School in Jacksonville, delivered a breakout 2024 season. Over 10 games, he rushed 162 times for a whopping 1,344 yards—an impressive 134.4 yards per game—and averaged 8.3 yards per carry, scoring 11 rushing touchdowns and adding one receiving TD for 1,563 all-purpose yards. Ranked among Florida’s top backs, Davis also lit up district defenses and earned recognition in weekly 4A District 4 performance lists. Davis signed with Lenoir Rhyne to continue his collegiate career. His hard work last off-season showed the largest advancement of any player in Northeast Florida in every metric. That’s why he is a First Team Prime Time Player.
