Biography

Somourian Wingo, a 6’3″, 190-pound wide receiver at St. Augustine High School, delivered an exceptional 2024 season. He recorded 62 receptions for 1,040 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 80 receiving yards per game. His performance ranked him among the top receivers in Florida and led District 5A-4 in receiving yards.

As a senior he returned leading the Jackets in receiving touchdowns (13), consistently generating double teams and bracket coverage while still going for 829yds receiving in 11 games. It’s his second consecutive year leading in Rec TDs.

Wingo’s impressive play has garnered attention from major college programs, including Florida, Miami, Alabama, and South Carolina, where he officially signed with Miami. His combination of size, catch radius, and ability to excel against press coverage makes him a prime target for top-tier college football programs. It is also one of the reasons he solidified himself one of the First Team Prime Time Players for the third consecutive year.
