Tae’shaun Gelsey of Riverside is the most recognizable football athlete in Northeast Florida. Standing 6 foot 4 inches and weighing 210 pounds, this wide receiver turned tight end easily goes up to catch touchdowns over defenders. In 2023, he amassed 859 yards and 12 TDs to cap a stellar junior season.
Gelsey headed into his senior season, transitioning to a different number, but maintaining his dominant presence. He amassed 875 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns. As a forward in basketball as well, his versatility in both sports, enabled him to line up out wide or on the line. The talented 2-sport athlete signed with Florida State.
