Biography

Tayvion Lawson, senior cornerback at Andrew Jackson High in Jacksonville, anchored a stellar 2024 season on defense. He totaled 26 tackles with 5 interceptions (0.5 per game) and broke up 8 passes, ranking among the top three in District 4 for interceptions and top 52 statewide. Offensively, he contributed 21 catches for 356 yards (17.0 yds/catch) and 2 touchdowns, adding 458 all-purpose yards.

A two-way standout, Lawson earned multiple District-4 Player of the Game honors and drew attention from college scouts, setting the stage for college-level opportunities. He seized his opportunity, signing to play college football at Kennessaw State. His performances on both sides of the ball and his accomplishments as a 2-sport athlete (basketball) speak for themselves.
