Biography

Timothy Cole II transferred from Ribault High School in 2024 and in his first season at Raines became the Vikings single season passing touchdown leader. He passed for 2,812 yards, 43 touchdowns, with just 7 interceptions. He also accumulated lots of offense on the ground (rushing yards: 872 yds, rushing TDs: 9), leading Raines to the Class 3A State title game.

With valuable championship experience, Cole once again was the top quarterback in Northeast Florida in 2025. He was named Duval Sports Player of the Week, for his Week 7 performance against his former team Ribault. In the Northwest Classic, Cole passed for 244 yards, 4 TDs and 0 INTs. He also added 43 yards rushing and a TD totaling five touchdowns.

With performances like these all year long, Cole took a big leap toward consideration for Florida’s Mr Football (top player in the state voted by Florida Dairy Farmer’s). He earned a finalist position for the award, but took home the Class 3A Player of the Year: Timothy “TJ” Cole II won this specific title after leading Raines High School to a state championship victory.

The senior won the player of the year for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 24′, and the Duval Sports Player of the Year Award in 2025. Had offers from Tennessee State, Albany State, Bethune Cookman, and Famu. He eventually signed with Morgan State,capping a stellar High School career.
