One of the most athletically gifted players Northeast Florida today is Tony Kennedy of First Coast High School. The 6′ foot 2026 signal caller excels at track & field as well and as we predicted before his senior season that he should be on several college recruiting boards.
As a senior Kennedy rushed for 1048 yards, 12 TDs, passed for 410 yards and 2 TDs. He also played defense with 2 interceptions, and a pick 6 on the year, capping an impressive season to which colleges couldn’t help but not notice.
Last year he tore up the competition, racking up 1407 passing yards, 13 TDs, combined with 1667 rushing yards, and 18 TDs in 2024.
Kennedy was named Duval Sports Player of the Week for week 7 for his 287 Passing Yards, 136 Rushing Yards, 5 TDs performance vs Yulee. He was on a tear and helped his team achieve their first winning streak of the season. He’s amassed 846 Yards, and 10 Touchdowns total in a 2 week span. Against heavily favored Bishop Kenny, Kennedy led his team on a furious comeback passing for 181 yards and 2 TDs. While also rushing for 210 yards and 3 Touchdowns.
Kennedy signed with Morgan State and will play running back for the Bears.
