Biography

Tony Williams, a rising senior linebacker at Raines High School in Jacksonville, starred during the Vikings’ impressive 2024 season. He amassed 101 total tackles—including 16 for loss—along with six sacks, three forced fumbles, and two pass breakups across 13 games. Leading Raines’ defense, his clutch performances helped the team go unbeaten (13‑1), reach the FHSAA Class 3A state championship, and finish as state runner-up. Williams ranked top 30 in Florida’s 3A division for tackles and sacks, and was No. 1 in District 3 in total tackles—earning high praise as a defensive cornerstone. He committed to Illinois this summer as he prepares to take it a step even higher his senior year before stepping onto campus for the Fighting Illini
