Biography

Tony Williams, senior season at linebacker with Raines High School in Jacksonville was nothing short of spectacular. He starred in a state championship game helping lead the Vikings’ not only back to the game, but to an impressive win. In 2024 season, he amassed 101 total tackles—including 16 for loss—along with six sacks, three forced fumbles, and two pass breakups across 13 games.

He tallied 152 total tackles across his junior and senior seasons, including 22 tackles for loss. Nine career sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Leading Raines’ defense, his clutch performances helped the team go unbeaten in 2025. They went (13‑1), reaching the FHSAA Class 3A state championship, and finished as state runners-up in 2024. A testament to his consistency on defense.

Williams ranked top 30 in Florida’s 3A division for tackles and sacks, and was No. 1 in District 3 in total tackles—earning high praise as a defensive cornerstone. Position ranked #8 (ESPN), #93 (Rivals), #103 (247). State ranked: #64 (ESPN), #113 (247), #134 (Rivals). He signed with Illinois and was already turning heads in Spring.
