\nNote: In a 1 vs 2 showdown, Gamble Rogers took a close game and made it a rout in the second half thanks to Aaron Wynn and King Beford. Now the Stingrays will have a huge target on their backs for the rest of the season, something coach Matt Potak will have to deal with.

\nNote: Despite a coaching change, the Flyers continue to roll opening up with an easy win over Valley Ridge at home. This one was over well before half.

\nNote: The loss to Gamble Rogers wasn’t that shocking as much as the margin of defeat was. Despite the loss, the Raiders will rebound from it and still be in the mix to defend their county title behind Dominic Fields.

\nNote: Led by Eric Weatherly, the Wolves are a dark horse contender to follow. Weatherly scored 5 touchdowns last week in the win over Murray.

\nNote: Rumor has it coach Todd Fordham might have sat several of his starters in the spring jamboree and were not as bad as they appeared. Thats a good thing to hear considering they didnt play well at all. I’d say the rumor might have been true with the opening win.
