Players were so wrapped up in signing the ball, they forgot their after game chores of picking up the yard markers and goal post pads.<\/p>\n<p>For Fruit Cove coach JC Calhoun it was another blow out win and chance to get better.<\/p>\n<p>Calhoun said the game was dedicated to their teammate\u00a0Jacob Shedlin and the players were excited to not only get the win but bring him the game ball.<\/p>\n<p>Murray put up a good fight despite having only 18 kids to work with. The Bulldogs have some play makers just not\u00a0enough depth to play with the majority of the county teams.<\/p>\n<p>Fruit Cove (3-0) hosts Sebastian at 5 p.m. next Wednesday, while Murray (1-2) host Swiss Point at 5 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gamble Rogers 34, Landrum 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So far so good for Gamble Rogers, which hasn&#8217;t really been tested so far this season, including a 34-8 win last night over host Landrum.<\/p>\n<p>Stingrays tailback Aaron Wynn scored three touchdowns, two rushing and one receiving to go along with the 200 all-purpose yards in the game. Valley Ridge came to make certain we would remain winless,&#8221; Wildcats head coach\u00a0Terry Ramos said. &#8220;Our\u00a0 Wildcats would have no part of it! We were first to get on the board in a hard fought battle. A few plays later,\u00a0Justin Naddou rumbled 38 yards to increase the lead to 21-0 in the first still.<\/p>\n<p>Backup quarterback Caden McDuffie got a chance to start when the starter left town as his family evacuated due to Hurricane Irma and he delivered.
