Hot Start by M.O.T has Players Pursuing Greatness

Jacksonville- It’s no secret that the 7- time youth football championship park (M.O.T.) has high expectations this year. Every year their goal is to hoist another trophy for the prideful park. However, what may come to a surprise to some, is the exposure that the park seeks to provide for the athletes, which has motivated talented players to man this year’s youth football team.

M.O.T has gotten off to a hot start to their 2019 youth football season as their 6U through 12U teams are currently 1-0. MOT, champions of the Indian River youth football conference, went 3-1 in their preseason football games versus the Atlantic Stingrays (champions of the St. Johns River Youth Football Conference). Their prominent preseason, might’ve been a foreshadowing of what’s to come in the fall, as the teams have talented play-makers ready to set the gridiron on fire.

Player’s like Tavion Lawson, Octavious Lawson, Kyrie Williams, Jamari Jennings (Grown Man), and Braylon Brown are just some of the many future stars that the park looks to prepare for the next level. Said Durham “We want to prepare our players for high school, if they work hard, stay humble, keep their grades up, I believe you’ll see some of them on Saturdays”.

MOT has many coaches who played the game, and have a fervent passion to develop youth in football. No program is perfect, and Durham will be the first to admit that his park is not. However, what can’t be refuted is the fact that many former MOT players currently man the sidelines at high school football games as starters. Which means they were prepared for the next level, and prepared for greatness with youth football.
