Joseph Soto had 8 carries for 80 yards rushing with 2 touchdowns, while also chipping in 3 catches for 56 yards and 1 touchdown to lead Gamble Rogers to victory. Gamble is now 6-0 on the season, clinching a number one seed heading into their season finale agains Swiss Point.
Gamble continues to get major contributions on both sides of the ball including Gage Anderson’s 9 carries for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns last week. Brooks Cornelison’s 81 yards passing and 2 touchdowns and Trenton Jone’s one touchdown catch. On defense, Ben Johnson and Ransom Rhodes both had sacks.
Liberty Pines improved to 5-0 on the season and clinched the number one seed in their playoff push. Marco Lanza and Nico Weiss have been playmakers on offense. Jaden Weatherly has been able to captain an offense that’s scored the second highest points in the SJMSAA. The defense has been the most dominant in the league, yielding only 8 points on the season. Liberty Pines certainly has made it’s case for being designated the top team in the league.
