Carlos “Los” Witherup

While lined up at multiple positions, Carlos Witherup cuts on a dime and breaks tackles with his solid frame and low center of gravity. In the slot, his sure hands and route running makes him a dangerous weapon in the passing game. For Oakleaf, he was one of the leaders in receiving and all purpose yards as a sophomore. a dangerous punt returner adding that to his impressive skill-set, that’s ideal for the next level. Finished the year with 821 All Purpose Yards, including 426 receiving yards and 6 total touchdowns.

As a junior, Witherup transferred to Mandarin and amassed 24 Catches for 336 Yards and 560 All Purpose Yards. Even with limited touches, he continued to be an x-factor on the team, able to make a big play instantly with the ball in his hands.

Witherup returned to Oakleaf for his senior season and totaled 844 yards receiving and 9 touchdowns. He was particularly spectacular in the playoffs, helping his team upset both Mandarin, and Nease on the road scoring touchdowns in both contests. Witherup signed with Warner to play college football.
