Donavon Mattis

Big Donavon Mattis powers both the defensive and offensive lines for the Duval County Middle School Champion Lake Shore Warriors. He clogs running lanes and puts pressure on quarterbacks, averaging  2-4 tackles a game. He protects the top middle school quarterback in Northeast Florida, and is a big reason for the Lake Shore explosive offensive that led all of the area in points. He attended St Patricks Catholic school, where he is an honor student, member of the national junior honor society, and the student council.

Mattis has now transitioned to high school where he anchors the offensive and defensive line at Bishop Kenny High School. He has added muscle to go with the height, size, athleticism, and academics that he already possesses. Mattis is currently projected as a Duval Sports 4-Star athlete, and will be an impact starter at the next level.
