Audrey Ellis

Audrey Ellis’s 2024 flag football campaign as a sophomore at Fleming Island High was exceptional. Her highlights are full of jaw dropping plays, including four 60-yard plus runs for touchdowns. When ever she touches the ball she’s able to elude defenders and score from any distance on the field. Ellis caught clutch touchdowns and made numerous defensive flag pulls, including key stops in a tight 6–0 playoff win that helped propel Fleming Island deep into postseason contention. 

On offense, she totaled 540 yards from scrimmage, and 5 touchdowns. On defense, she registered 50 tackles, 5  interceptions, and a whopping 7 sacks in two playoff games helping to lead Fleming Island into the FHSAA Class 3A Regional Semifinals.

In her freshman year at Paxon High (Spring 2023), Ellis quickly emerged as a defensive standout, totaling 4 interceptions and multiple solo tackles. She helped Paxon reach the FHSAA Class 1A district playoffs, recording tackles in every game and anchoring a fast‑improving Golden Eagles defense.

From her freshman beginnings at Paxon to her growing leadership at Fleming Island, Audrey’s dual-threat versatility as both a running back and defensive specialist has marked her as one of Northeast Florida’s rising flag‑football talents.
