James Gibbs

James Gibbs’ physical attributes and performance suggest a player who has developed physically, to go along with his advanced mental development of the game. He’s able to diagnose, disrupt, and destroy plays on the field, and the tape shows it. His instincts and pass-rushing ability are ideal for what college coaches seek. At 6′2″ and about 190 lbs, he has size but still has room to add lower body strength in a college program. His speed and relentless effort (especially in getting into the backfield and making tackles) are impressive.

His increasing sack numbers and higher tackle rate as a senior indicates growth every year, and with every game he adds experience and play making.  A disruptive force off the edge for Bolles, finishing with eight sacks and 12 tackles for loss while creating constant pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
