The best offensive-lineman in the state of Florida coming out of High School, Barber a 6’7, 318 pounds of pure aggression who pancaked defenders routinely. Also played defense and special teams showing freakish athletic ability for a young man that size. Six different rushers scored for State Champion Trinity Christian thanks to Barber. Trinity Christian won the Florida Class 3A State Championship in 2020. Under recruited due to Covid pandemic, a late offer by the Gators kept Barber in the area.
At Florida, appeared in three games and redshirted in 2021. Named to the College Football News Freshman All-American First Team in 2022. Appeared in all 13 games making five starts at right tackle. Started at left tackle in eight games the 2023 season while totaling 561 snaps.
Started all 13 games at left tackle for the Gators in 2024. Recorded his first collegiate touchdown along with being named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week in Week 4.
2025: Started all 12 games at left tackle for the Gators… Logged a total of 750 offensive snaps with a PFF run block grade of 82.2.
