Biography

King Boylston has rapidly emerged as one of Northeast Florida’s premier quarterbacks in 2024, becoming the leader of an Ed White Commanders program on the rise. With a strong arm, high football IQ, and the poise to make plays under pressure, Boylston has established himself as one of Jacksonville’s top signal-callers in the Class of 2027.

Standing 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Boylston possesses the ideal size and athleticism to excel at the quarterback position. A former standout at Trinity Christian Academy before transferring to Ed White, he has continued to develop into a complete quarterback who is capable of beating defenses with both his arm and his legs.

During his breakout junior season in 2025, Boylston threw for 2,091 yards and 25 touchdowns while completing 114 of 185 passes. He also accounted for 2,803 total yards, including 712 rushing yards and 13 rushing TDs, ranking among Florida’s top offensive performers and helping guide the Commanders to another successful season and a berth in the FHSAA Class 4A playoffs. His ability to deliver accurate throws, extend plays outside the pocket, and make smart decisions with the football made him one of the area’s most productive quarterbacks.

What separates Boylston is his command of the offense. He demonstrates outstanding pocket awareness, reads defenses effectively, and remains composed in critical moments. He led Ed White to their first district championship in nearly a decade, while also leading them to their first win over Westside rival high school power Trinity Christian.

Boylston, (the younger brother of MLB player Kyle Boylston) consistently displays the leadership qualities coaches look for in a franchise quarterback, and is projected as a 5-star recruit by Duval Sports.
