Biography

Santana Starks has quickly established himself as one of Northeast Florida’s top defensive backs, bringing elite athleticism, instincts, and versatility to The Bolles School’s championship-caliber defense. A shutdown defender with an accelerated quickness style of play, Starks has become one of the most exciting prospects in Florida’s Class of 2027.

Standing 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds, Starks size was challenged often by opposing offenses. Yet he made quarterbacks pay every time they challenged him. He led State runner-up Bolles in interceptions with 6! Reminiscent of another undersized DB from the area (Jadon Canady, Kansas City Chiefs) who led Florida in interceptions, Starks has led NE Florida in combined interceptions the last two years with 9.

With speed, agility, and athletic ability to play multiple positions in the secondary. Whether lined up at cornerback or nickel, he has the instincts to diagnose plays, the quickness to stay with receivers in coverage, and the physicality to make plays near the line of scrimmage. His versatility allowed the Bulldogs’ to move him around the defense to make plays and he did.

Starks will continue to rise as he signed at Lindenwood University. With hard work, look for this playmaker to make headlines at the collegiate level.
