Drake Batts

The most impressive player on the Ridgeview defense in size and play, Batts is a 6’2,230lbs DE who can coral runners around the edge with his length. He also has the strength to bring defenders down while engaged with blockers. Batts has great size and uses it to his advantage by clogging rushing lanes and penetrating the backfield for TFLs. He leads the team’s defensive statistics in tackles per game and plays a crucial role in the Panthers’ front line. Through three games he has 3 sacks, and 25 tackles. Batts remains a bright spot for Ridgeview defense, while also playing Tight End as well, showing versatility.
