Manny Covey

Manny Covey is one of the smoothest runners you’ve ever seen, with an inate ability to change direction in a millisecond, and cut on a dime. His burst is unmatched in the area, able to go from “0 to 100 real quick”. Covey came over to Bradford County from Union County after his sophomore year and rushed for 558 yards and 7 touchdowns. He added 400 yards and 2 TDs receiving for Bradford last year. In all, Covey has rushed for 1,368 yards and amassed 800 yards receiving his last two seasons, while splitting carries at both high schools. He is exceptional with the ball in his hands, returning kickoffs and punts for touchdowns. The Cincinnati signee led Bradford back to the playoffs.

Cincinnati 2023-2025  Covey spent three seasons with the Cincinnati Bearcats. During his 2025 season with the Bearcats, he recorded 28 carries for 198 yards, averaging an impressive 7.1 yards per carry. 

2024: 62 rushing yards on 17 carries and eight receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns…Best performance came at Texas Tech, caught six passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns, including a 71-yard TD reception, second-longest play of the season for Cincinnat.

Transferred to Memphis 2026. Analysts project him as a highly physical, versatile weapon for the Tigers’ offense. He is expected to excel in short-yardage situations, red-zone plays, and as a reliable pass-catcher out of the backfield.
