Ty Street

Ty Street is a versatile linebacker for Fleming Island, getting reps both at Outside Linebacker (OLB) and Middle Linebacker (MLB). At 6′0″ and around 190 lbs, he has the athletic build that allows him to be effective in pursuit, run-stopping, and dropping into coverage.

Recognized by Prep Redzone as on of the rising stars in the state of Florida for 2025

– Recognized by Prep Redzone as 2025 week 2 top performer in the state of Florida with 8 total tackles, 2 TFL, 1 Sack and a forced fumble.

– Lettered in varsity football as a freshman and sophomore

– Current season stats through 4 games; 31 total tackles, 5 TFL, 2 sacks, 2 FF

He plays with great effort, showing downhill aggression as well as disciplined positioning in his zone coverage schemes. His dual role show that coaches trust his football IQ and his ability to locate the ball from different angles. As he accumulates strong tackling numbers in his junior season, he is garnering recognition with All County and All District defensive leaderboards and honors.
