Bolles High School- Austin Henson brought in the go ahead run for Bolles in the bottom of the 6th inning, as the Bulldogs defeated Trinity Christian 6-3. The game was tied throughout most of the game 2-2 as both teams played stale mate. Trinity’s A.J Labas did what he does best, throw the heat, while Hunter Barco for Bolles had the Conquerors looking all night.  The Bulldogs who came into the game at 19-3, played signature defense and were opportunistic on offense.IMG_2981 They capitalized on Trinity’s mistakes late in the game.

The Conquerors were uncharacteristically careless in the 6th inning. After Keiland Williams hit a double for Trinity, they struck out on the very next batter stranding Williams. The lost potential to score points would haunt them as Bolles surged in the 6th inning to go ahead for good. Clemente Inclan and Hamp Skinner would score on RBI’s by Austin Henson. Henson would eventually score after Max Ferguson’s perfectly executed bunt. Bolles would score four runs in the sixth inning to win the game 6-2.  Bolles is now 20-3 on the season.
