Who Can Shut Down Sandalwood in the Girls Basketball Gateway Conference Tournament?

Jacksonville Fl-  For the first time in nearly a decade the Gateway Conference Tournament will go through another team. Ribault’s dominance in the annual tournament is in serious jeopardy as several teams in the Gateway Conference have raised their level of play in 2017-2018. Raines, Ribault, First Coast and Sandalwood began the tournament with first round byes. In the second round Raines (6-2) faces Lee (7-6) , First Coast (12-5) takes on Paxon(7-11) , Ribault (10-11) faces Terry Parker (4-7), and Sandalwood (12-1) takes on Atlantic Coast (8-6). Baring any upsets in round two we are looking at a matchup between the defending Gateway Champions Ribault Lady Trojans and the #1 seeded Sandalwood Saints. While Raines and First Coast will vie for the chance to either face the current #1 seed or the defending champions in the final. Ribault, Raines, and First coast are three teams with the best shot to derail the Saints express. However the Saints with their veteran leadership and explosive stars are certainly ready to capture the crown.  It’s sure to be an exciting tournament so stay up to date with all the tournament action with DuvalSports.com
