Week #2 Middle School Basketball Rankings: Kernan Girls and Kirby Boys Soaring

After two weeks of Duval County Middle School basketball action, a few teams have visibly soared to higher heights in their first set of games. For the Kirby Smith Comets, they’re 4-0 record signifies a determination to want to return to the championship game. A game they lost in overtime last year to Fletcher. They defeated Ribault in an early season matchup avenging a preseason loss to the team. The Kernan Ospreys have already defeated the defending Girls Middle School basketball champs in Arlington this year. They’re size was one thing to handle but they’re confidence is now another after a big early season win over the champs.

Check out the top 10 from the boys and girls as we head into week 3 today!
