The school athletic season is over in Northeast Florida, but there are plenty of honors and accolades to acknowledge. The best and brightest in boys basketball shined all the way to Lakeland with several teams making it to the Final 4 and even to the championship game.

North Florida Educational Institute made its first appearnace in the state championship game. Paxon and Jackson returned to prominence after several years of absences. While Fleming Island, and University Christian made their first trips to Lakeland in school history. Many of the players who led these programs and more are compiled on this inagural list of the best the area has to offer. The 2018-2019 Duval Sports All Area Boys Basketball Team.
