Middle School Football: Christ’s Church Shining Bright In Another Season

Coach Brown and the Christ’s Church Middle School Football team are off to another great start to their season. They’re currently 4-2 on the year and heading for another winning season.

Their last win was against Trinity Deltona where the Eagles got the victory 42-28. Christ’s Church received great efforts from several of their players including Bryan Padilla, who scored twice in the game on a touchdown run and a one-handed interception return for a score. There’s also Jackson Hadden , and Brock Stomps quarterbacks, who lead the offense to 42 points against the Trinity Deltona.

The team has been able to come together as a unit and execute plays with precision and passion for success. Players like Butler Sheehan, Hudson Brewer, Ryan Sherritt, Jacob Tanner, Devin Sarver, and Davis Roberts have lead the team in various positions. Against Trinity Deltona, they were able to hold in check #26 Mathias Franz and #3 Blaine Bisscoondutt. There defensive efforts allowed the offense to generate lots of points. something they’ve been able to do most of the season.

That success allows a seamless transition from JV to Varsity football, to which the program runs the same offensive and defensive systems. It’s one main reason that the Christ’s Church varsity team can re-tool and achieve success on the gridiron.

After each game, Christi’s Church congratulates their opponent then fellowships with them in a moment of prayer. Their effort on the field is only matched by their exercising of their faith, knowing that winning in life is the ultimate goal.
