Spring Football Top Prospects: Terry Parker Braves

Without Spring Football, several High School Football athletes around Northeast Florida were unable to showcase their talents and abilities on the field for their teams. With the Covid-19 pandemic affecting the travel for college recruiters, and team’s ability to assemble, some of the top players in Northeast Florida have been unable to be seen. So for the next couple of weeks, Duval Sports will list the Top Players on each team in Northeast Florida.


Terry Parker

Head Coach Char-ron Dorsey comes off a district championship and playoff birth ready to go even higher. Assistant Coach Michael Holloway makes up a staff of passionate, enthusiastic coaches which trickles down to the players and shows up on the field. They’ve got some nice prospects at Parker this year. Let’s check em out.


Chris Victor– 6’3 , 190lbs , Athlete, 2021 Key Offers: None

Great size and physical football player. Plays every side of the ball with intensity. Not afraid of contact in the secondary and at wide receiver in the run game.



Antonio Riley– 6’0, 255lbs, DL/LB 2021, Key Offers: None

Riley has quick hands and uses them well off the edge in rushing. A good tweener, able to play linebacker and on the line.


Evan Blackman– 6’3, 275lbs, OL/DL, 2021, Key Offers: None

Good size at left tackle anchoring the line. Aggressive and strong once engaged with defenders.



Demetrius McDougal- 6’1, 315lbs DL/OL, 2021 Key Offer: None

Third team All State Defensive tackle, Mc Dougal moves well for his size and makes plays in the trenches on both sides of the ball. It definitely showed up on the stat sheet.


*Kevonte’ Doles– 5’7, 160lbs RB 2021 , Key Offers: None

Coming over to Parker for his senior year, Doles is a dynamic play maker with the ability to break tackles and break away from defenders in the open field. The Ultimate playmaker from anywhere on the field.



Damani Dent– 6’1, 178lbs DB 2022 Key Offers: None

Damani Dent is a quick corner with ideal size, able to play the outside or nickle spot. His ability to close is extremely impressive, which deters throws his way.


Javis Brooks– 5’11, 185lbs. LB 2022 Key Offers : None

Brooks is Parker’s fastest and fiercest linebacker. He hits hard and gets to ball carriers quick. He’s a versatile player and really stands out on film.


Daniel Shaw– 5’8, 145lbs, WR, 2021, Key Offers: None

Excellent speed and vision for this athlete from Parker. primary position is wide receiver but he returns punts and kicks and can take it the distance.


*David Hamilton Jr.-6’3, 170 lbs , 2022, Key Offers: Savannah State

A big target with a large catch radius, Hamilton Jr is a quarterback’s dream especially in the redzone. He has the most upside of the Parker receivers and is looking to break out this year.

Mekhi Thomas – 6’6, 310lbs 2021 Key Offers: None

A mammoth of a young man, Thomas has tremendous size on the line. The senior has all the imposing attributes to dominate his position.
